  • I was this last Sunday, by your website (only in Hungarian) we understood that they opened that day at 10 in the morning. We arrived at 10:30... and the Museum was closed. Fortunately it is not far from fishermen's bastion

  • Hungary has - how many Central European countries - a whole series of wars such as Turkish wars, wars of liberation experienced 1848/49, the two world wars. In addition, some space is given by 1956 even the revolt. The rooms are very generous, the presentation of the exhibits very extensively. The Museum is certainly worth a visit for people who flags, uniforms and weapons have a lower interest, but mi skim looking for some important aspects of the Hungarian history.

  • Has been places and walk, heading north on the cable car up to the Hill for the Royal. Military historical Museum is housed in a corner of the north end, the door closed, the guidebook is not closed: Monday and lunch is not, I do not know why is from opening until closing time in doing so I closed. You only see them because the tour is in front of my building a tank with a cannon, gun barrel lined up in front of the building, moved to Vienna Gate.

  • A great place for those who enjoy educational trips. Learnt lots here about the history of war in Budapest and got to see some impressive weapons. Lots of explanations written in English.
  • Nothing is in English. Everything's looks interesting but it's impossible to understand the history. It would be nice if they had English translations to read. Entrance was 1500 Hungarian
  • Very interesting. The most interesting museum in Budapest. Miss some English signs, but museum crew can and are ready to explain everything.
  • Considerably little to see. Perhaps a couple interesting items for uniform enthusiasts but even then the cloths look new, remade and not original. Only some parts explained in English; thus its difficult for non-Hungarians to read about the details.
  • Nagyon tetszett, kellemes hely időtöltésre.
