  • The castles are all replicas, there is no real interest in going there except take some pictures and leave.  more »

  • Whilst I didn't go inside any of the buildings, the architecture here is absolutely outstanding. Truly beautiful. The surrounding parkland is also very beautiful. You can easily access here from Metro M1 and it's a very short walk from Heroes' Square, which is convenient since you can visit both attractions on the same outing. Szechenyi baths is nearby.
  • The outside of the all the buildings in the park are beautiful, the castle (from the outside is stunning) I would recommend only staying outside and taking photos of that! Because, inside is honestly horrible. It was the same price for the national gallery and as soon as I walked in it smelled of dead people and rotting animals. And I couldn’t believe to see my eyes. They had taxidermy animals that clearly weren’t done right and smelled like they where rotting. There was no detail of anything in the museum!! None!! There would be old cups and it would say next to it “cups” and not where they are from or any information. They could have talked about what the castle was. Which they didn’t. And the building had chunks falling off the walls. And no heat was on and 98% of the lights where not turned on. It was a huge rip off and I felt sick after walking around for 2 hours.
  • I've only seen it from the outside and it is beautiful. You can take some great pictures in front of the small lake, which is right next to the castle.
  • Beautiful castle but not much else to do other than see it from the outside. Good to have a look on your way to the szechenyi bath.
  • Amazing atmosphere and we were lucky to be there on a Sunday with a local food market. There are three different "castles" right next to each other in different building styles, and the atmosphere throws you instantly back to the late middle ages. The park itself is also beautiful.
