  • This castle is amazing. It's beauty in art work and architecture stands out. There was a food festival on when we arrived, not really into goulash. Inside the castle is amazing, goes back over a lot o...  more »
  • Apparently this place was built out of wood and canvas as a temporary exhibition many decades ago but people enjoyed it so much that it was turned into a permanent feature. Can't vouch for the inside ...  more »
  • Historic architectural ensemble was originally built as a temporary structure to the exhibition on the 1000-anniversary of Hungary and originally had a wooden frame. But everyone liked so much that it was decided to rebuild it from strong materials (1904-1908gg). A wise decision in my opinion. Mixture of styles in architecture, but everything looks very cute. Inside there is an agricultural Museum. Works with 10-to 17-0000 0000, ticket costs 1200 HUF per person. In the Museum we wandered 2 hours, inspected inside Castle and exposure. The rooms of the Museum tell about the flora, fauna, basic crafts and daily life of Hungary, in the basement of the exposition on winemaking. A lot of objects and mechanisms of yesteryear. It was very interesting. Inside there is a café (though it did not work in February) and free toilet. There is a beautiful park, Lake, where in winter skating rink. The complex is located opposite the Szechenyi balneological baths.

  • Very beautiful place. I visited it during some kind of festival and there was people and shops everywhere, but still the building is superb.
  • Lovely old castle right next to the baths and the zoo. The museum inside isn't really worth the money, stick to looking from outside.
  • Wonderful architecture on the exterior of this beautiful castle. It is lit up nicely at night time.
  • Castle was not open when we visited. I expected to go in. It's worth seeing to take a picture, but don't plan to spend more than 30 minutes here.
  • Located near Hösök tere this castle has a beautiful architecture, there is also a museum that you can visit
