  • A sad monument of the sad event. First put it in pest. Then hid. Not because power has changed, and to save during the second world war. 30 years ago, in the sunset of the Communist era, the monument remembered and put in this not very crowded. Why do I constantly remind about her tragic death. Townspeople in several generations remember and love it live. Remained adorable Hungarians Elizabeth alone at the junction near the bridge its name. The city in which her name are several streets, bridge and countless institutions could afford it. It's not in the monument case, and memory, and with the memory of the inhabitants of Budapest are usually okay)

  • The Hungarian Queen Elisabeth (also Empress) was very popular among the population. At the time of communism, the statue was somewhere else before she came back in the vicinity of the Elisabeth Bridge. Unfortunately a place with a lot of traffic drum around. No absolute must - but if you anyway want to Gellert Hill, is on the way.
