  • This beautiful church is a little out of the tourist routes, but fully justifies a visit. It is about 5 minutes walk from the railway station Keleti. I found it by chance on one of my walks near the hotel where I was installed (Hotel Hungaria). Luckily, was open and so we had the opportunity to visit inside. The Church and its surrounding gardens occupy Rózsák square. Is a Roman Catholic Church, built between 1895 and 1901, as can be seen on a bulletin board whose photo annex.

  • This church is located a little bit outside of main tourist routes and not frequently visited by tourists. Church building is fine example of Hungarian version of neo-gothic style, both outside and in...  more »
  • On the way from the hotel Baross "on Heroes ' square accidentally wandered onto the square, in the Centre of which stood a miracle-a wonderful creamy-yellow-Kirche (Jerzhbety). The area is known as the "Rose square" on jailed here a large number of rose bushes (sorry that was not a season and I haven't been able to estimate all charm of a carpet of flowers). At the entrance to the Cathedral is a monument to St. Elizabeth. Since visiting the temple may only watch service I was limited to outside inspection. After the discovery of such beauty, I concluded that even far from the beaten paths "tourist" attraction can be found to live in the beauty of untwisted characters (the fisherman's bastion, Heroes ' square, Parliament ...). If possible, try to repeat visits to this place not only from outside but also get inside the temple.

  • Well maintained historic church, open to the public
  • Wonderful church in a nicely organized park.
  • Quiet and stunning. Feels like a working church, in counterpoint to the Basilica.
  • Calm and quite place with a few benches and tables
  • Hided pearl.
