  • From 5/2011 named Roosevelt (Roosevelt Square) and then renamed the square see Cheney, Stephen (Széchenyi István ter). This is the formal name of the Budapest City Council. Square name has been changed to see Cheney Earl built the chain bridge, the square itself is part of the Pest side of the Danube, still, showing us the beautiful landscape of tall grass and trees in the North and South. Is that the image of the President of the United States made in Japan or in Budapest in a strange town, breaking George Washington statue Heroe's square in socialist-era, was allied with America or Reagan statue at freedom square after the war consistently, no square in the name of the President, but why is Hungary? But I would want to lost my horrid past, and would thus square name of Communist-era of Hungary with names changed is the trend of the times.

  • This is a small and unassuming square, but whatever you do - do not miss the stunning Gresham palace, located behind the square.  more »
  • May be Yes, that the place nice, but is not in the autumn. Lot cars, unbequäm organized transitions, huge green space without asphaltirte walkways so that you can look at the monuments not up close. Framed by beautiful palaces, however.
