  • "Pavilion" built for the celebration of the Millennium of Hungary in 1896, serves as exhibition space dedicated to contemporary art, both Hungarian and foreign. After a recent renovation looks stunning, but neo-packaging can be a source of confusion for those seeking classic beauty (as reflected in some of the reviews posted on this site), you can find the work difficult and ambiguous. During my visits were presented simultaneously: 1. Branches | Jenő Szervátiusz and Tibor Szervátiusz | Two sculptors, two generations-XX. , from folk themes in wood when the monumental, expressionistic artwork in metal. Pretty good and as far as affordable. 2. Branches | Nature art-Variations-Small Gestures | Nature Alliance | Eco-avantgarde-exhibition dedicated to organic architecture, relations of man with nature, land art, including the presentation of a new Iranian art, etc. Very good and a large portion of the book in the receipt, also by children. 3. KÖZÉP-public buildings within your reach-exhibition of 30 projects in public buildings. Moderately interesting. 4. Control – Exhibition by the students of the Media Design Department, Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design (MOME), Budapest [Gallery in the basement]. I have a feeling that in this case not taken care of enough meaningful interpretation of the work (or plan of creators), this part of the Setup did not work. Because the "Pavilion" does not have its own collection, you can hit the exhibition with a very different character. Before you visit it is recommended that you check the current exhibitions on the website. Introduction, as in other budapeszteńskiech museums, a bit too expensive, 1900Ft (almost 30 PLN) for all exhibitions.
