  • Small museum a bit away in a courtyard which is worth a visit if you like the music. You will be accompanied by a passionate staff. Scores of Bartok, magnificent musical instruments (can let you listen to a soundtrack), videos of Liszt, a violin workshop. A nice break!

  • An exhibition about the history and music of Hungary in the Museum. Franz Liszt, composer of the famous, such as Hungary, as well as about the Kodaly and Bartok collected Hungary there are a number of local traditional music for the exhibition. One side can be seen playing the instrument directly to the showroom experience exhibition. English explanation is sparse.

  • A large collection of mainly uniforms ranging from the different hungarian empires and the nazi and soviet occupations. You can also see a fairly large collection of weapons along with the uniforms. Unfortunately, few of the placards are in english so it's difficult to learn anything besides observing the collection.
  • Nothing is in English. Everything's looks interesting but it's impossible to understand the history. It would be nice if they had English translations to read. Entrance was 1500 Hungarian
  • A great place for those who enjoy educational trips. Learnt lots here about the history of war in Budapest and got to see some impressive weapons. Lots of explanations written in English.
  • Good selection of weapon, good place to learn some history
  • Closed for renovations when we visited :(
