  • Battery on the ground after the meal of Castello, Bastion and Church ... I decide to go ahead and turn the fortification that follows the walkway of the port of Vienna. Mobile unloading and camera in charge with the power bank I find myself on a beautiful walkway that offers exceptional views of Buda, peace and quiet and a number of artillery pieces exposed ... I approach the Palace and see the entrance to the Museum: nominal price and since it is almost closing I decide that all in all I can spend that much money to have a look. Really well done, mainly focuses on the latest war ... is great, very ... deserves attention and a specific interest. I admit that the tiredness has overwhelmed me even before the limited time available (I had only 30 minutes before it closed). The impression was great: it is not among the things to see but not be ostracized.

  • We enjoyed our visit at the Museum very much. Many interesting stories, small arms, guns, uniforms and other items, – mainly from the hungarian army, but there is also some russian and german stuff. The Museum tells you about important time periods in the hungarian (military) history. There are scenes with weapons, wax figures and sound effects. In the World War I section they have even build some kind of a trench. So you can imagine the depicted situations very well. Many of the placards are written in english, too. The informations given are objective - so no die hard patriotism. A high recommendation for everyone who is interested in military history or Hungarian history.
  • Great museum, a lot of small arms and nice uniforms. It's great to see the hungarian prespective on the great war and WW2.
  • Really a great museum but as others have noted only some parts of the museum have placards with English translations which makes it difficult to get the most out of what is presented. Would definitely be five stars if every placard had an English translation.
  • Very well presented museum. The staff is kind of quirky in that they follow you around a little bit.
  • Really good. Concise, well laid out exhibition.
