Come during a concert at the island's open-air theater, see an outdoor movie, or eat dinner under the stars. Hang out at one of the many restaurant or cafes on the island, go for a run, have a picnic in a landscaped garden, relax at an outdoor pool, or play in the sun at Palatinus water park. • In the Centre of Budapest is the islet of beauty. Centenary trees, green meadows, thermal water, water-ozdorovitel'ne procedure where you can play tennis, ride on electric vehicles, bikes. All sorts of cafes. And yet there is a musical fountain, thermal waterfall. And unthinkable beautiful Roses (and this is in November.)

  • The ideal place to spend a relaxing day immerssi in nature. This summer there were places where it was possible to stop to SIP a cold drink. We met many people who were physically active.

  • A really lovely island worth a visit. A great place to walk around. Lovely gardens, fountains and monastery ruins. It is family friendly, I only visited during the day but I am sure it would be just as nice in the evening. Also a good running track which was being used by lots of joggers.
  • Lovely island in the heart of Budapest, a green patch in the sea of buildings, a perfect location for several occasions, quiet, romantic and beautyful. I would recommend taking a stroll, especially on the newly refurbished Margaret bridge.
  • Best place to go all year in Budapest! :) If you like running then even better, there is a track that goes all around the island.
  • Very nice island with one of the best fountains I have seen. Best to go later at night to see the fountain to see the lights. There's a running track around the outside of the island which is about 5 km long and has distance markers.
  • It's the place where the downtown goes when they needs nature. The island has huge parks where you can hang out, lay down or take a walk. Busier during weekends and may worth checking the clubs and pubs in the evening.
