  • Extensive in an old stock of curly dandruff on large outdoor area, but non-systematic collection of locomotives and coaches, to the touch, climb, and zT ride. Unfortunately we had heavy rain and the area had the three-day battle of the pork and sausage Festival with large tents, stage in the main locomotive shed and various stalls everywhere to guest, so that a detailed description must be avoided, quite sure but a visit to Hungary next, stay at the top is on the agenda!

  • It's a large museum and on my visit the main shed was given over to a model railway show. A lot of steam locos but little post steam (I suspect it's still running). The displays are good but I could n...  more »
  • Somewhat difficult to reach by public transport, the Museum on a huge site offers a wide range of locomotives and carriages from the 19th to the late 20th century. The possibility of a tour with a small railway, as well as the ride trolley is for children or adults.

  • If you're interested in trains or mechanical engineering history in general, then this place is a must. Besides the huge amount of cool, old trains, they even have a real car modified for usage on railway tracks and it works! Also it was used by former communist president in the seventies.
  • really awesome museum with valuable exhibitions presenting the golden age of the Hungarian Railway located in an old train station. Must see.
  • It is grwat time and fun with kids
  • My son loves trains and this place had a great layout of old steam locomotives and cars. There were also a lot of activities for children.
  • Park, exhibition and fun in one place. Hop on a tiny children's train and ride across the park, climb on vintage trains, or just sit and relax at a small lake. A playground is also available. This park even hosted a whole IT conference called Craft with thousands of attendees in 2016.
