  • I paid 2600 HUF to see just 2 temporary exhibitions. The place itself is great, but have no permanent exposition. Worth going only if you 100% sure somethibg worthy is exposed now.  more »
  • The Ludwig Museum Budapest d takes its name from the past 50 years they collected architectural works Ludwig spouses and donated to the community, with a view in my opinion always admirable to bring Western culture to the "Eastern" through art. A stately Palace, squared, rugged, located south of Pest in an area that is enjoying some retraining but which often in these guides is referred to as "out of paper" because of little interest until a few years ago. Today the Ludwig Museum, on the banks of the River near the bridge Rákóczi from the image very "Socialist", is one of the spearheads of contemporary art and we can say that makes it more interesting the area due to its structure in marble, wood and glass. Inside exhibits on the cutting edge of Eastern Europe between 60 and 70 years of the 20th century, and some Western artists like Warhol and Lichtenstein, temporary and always interesting. As a café and a restaurant in the best tradition of contemporary Museum. If you stay at least 5 days in Budapest, it is worthwhile.

Attracting countless visitors with its architecture, history, and atmosphere, Budapest also provides a great selection of places to stay. The city’s hotels include everything from cozy and economical boutique establishments to luxurious world-renowned chains. Alternatively, choose from the huge variety of bed and breakfasts and hostels, as well as rental apartments ranging from economic to deluxe. While accommodations are spread throughout the city, more of them cluster on the livelier Pest side. You may want to place yourself near the sights you want to see most, but keep in mind that the city's wide public transportation network makes it relatively easy to reach all the major attractions no matter where you’re staying.
