  • This museum has excellent audio guide full of ineteresting facts and Lizrs music (of course). The museum is tiny but its really give you a peek on the composer life.  more »
  • Keep in mind, that Liszt lived in this floor at one time. We can see his desk (with keys) and other personal items. A beautiful-sounding "glass" piano can you try if you ask the staff. Beethoven's old piano, which Liszt got the gift, there is also a small museum. A lot of history. It wont be given concert-if I remember correctly-every Saturday in the adjacent concert hall. Clearly worth a visit.

  • I attended a concert of excellent quality that feels good to the ears. Then, I decided to visit the "Museum" which is actually the apartment of Liszt. It is small but the audio guide tells us the history of Liszt, which is very interesting. Until the moment where the keeper started screaming about another visitor to not touch a Chair (which he was not touching), where he starts to shout at a person who was taking pictures [Ah agree he must pay the ticket + audio-guide + a right for taking of PHOTOS not but who are they trying to kid! Brief!]. That same guard follows you everywhere such a supermarket security guard, he ruined my pleasure, which prompted me to cut my visit short. Too bad!

  • Puttin' on the Liszt. My wife is a piano major. I like classical music. The museum is small but you definitely get a glimpse into the life of a master. Pianos, manuscripts and personal items even plaster casts of his big hands. You have to pay extra for permission to take pictures and it is strictly enforced. You have been warned.
  • Meaningful collection of items for piano players who have a strong appreciation of Liszt's work prior to visiting. The place is not large but is accessible by foot from the central area of the city. Admission includes a written fact guide for use during the visit, and audio guides/permission to photograph inside require an additional fee.
  • I have been to a concert here today at 6.00 pm. It was free of charge. The performers were students of Liszt Academy. I liked it.
  • Not worth the 1300 huf entrance fee unless you are a big liszt fan. Only 3 rooms too see. A few pianos and other things belonging to the composer. Thought it a waste of money unless you want to admire the 3 rooms and are mad about liszt.
  • If you want to get know everything about Ferenc Liszt come to visit this place
