  • Very nice and spacious square in front of the Parliament. The size of it is in a quite contrast with majority of Budapest squares, which are usually rather on a small side.  more »
  • Imposing and symbolic square. Visiting the area of existing underground media which reports the information available about the slaughter there occurred

  • Visited the Square on two or three occasions throughout our stay, worth a visit as it also contains the Parliament building. A moving tribute to the Hungarian Revolution (October 1956) is on the Left ...  more »

  • One of the most important places in Budapest. Definitely an obligated place to visit. A building from the second half of XIX century, it has a eclectic style, very unique in its type. I'm sure you won't see anything like this. Located in a plaza round by other antic buildings, is very beautiful.
  • Recently the whole square was renewed. Worth a visit. Also one can visit the Parliament, for which reservation is recommended (only guided tours are allowed). Reservation may be made via e-mail to which the passport copies should be attached as admition for EU citizens is free.
  • This building is amazing. You can see it from the other side of the river pretty well. In daylight or night it looks amazing!!! A must see place in Budapest!
  • Always when I come here, I can see different view (new statues, walkways etc.). Only parlament & Lajos Kosuth staute is the same :-) One of my favorite places in Budapest.
  • Square in front of one of the most impressive buildings I ve seen. Wonderful to have a picnic! For photography please visit at sun set!
