(4.2/5 based on 150+ reviews on the web)
Follow in the footsteps of the 19th-century aristocrats as you stroll down Korzo - Danube Embankment (Dunakorzo). Located between the Chain Bridge and the Elisabeth Bridge on the Pest side, this walkway along the Danube is the city's most famous. As you go, admire the magnificent views of Buda Castle and a variety of sculptures, including representations of Sándor Petőfi and William Shakespeare. The walkway also features one of the city's most powerful memorials. Statues of shoes on the riverbank pay homage to the Jews who were killed here during World War II. Many of the city's famous sights and historic buildings, such as the Parliament and the Vigadó concert hall, are within walking distance from the promenade. If you need a break from sightseeting, the surrounding streets are dotted with cafes and restaurants. • Nice and charming walk along the Danube. I definitely recommend the evening. Lots of cafes and souvenir shops.

  • Walk from Széchenyi lánchíd see the shoes on the Danube River promenade from the houses of Parliament, and intercontinental Marriott before the turn, went to "transport", so stuck on the Boardwalk. Along the River, certainly at night haunts. We have a free time, desperate for transport to go but no slack, then rushed by bus to hotel Buda district, was time for bus collection of Danube river cruises. Free time again gathering place is wanted and specified on the Pest side.
