Create an itinerary including Koller Gallery
Nestled within the historic and elegant castle district, Koller Gallery showcases contemporary Hungarian paintings, sculptures, and etchings, as well as modern works by world-renowned artists, including Salvador Dali and Alejandro Pereyra. The oldest Hungarian private gallery occupies the former three-story atelier of sculptor Amerigo Tot, but the true gem remains the gallery's Renaissance-style sculpture garden with a fountain, an oasis of tranquility in the crowded and touristy castle district. The top floor offers great views across the Danube and Pest. Using our online itinerary creator, Budapest attractions like Koller Gallery can form part of a personalized travel itinerary.

  • Nice gallery with cool sculptures, kind staff, free. Pictures were allowed as well. Worth a visit even if you only spend 15 minutes there

  • I had the chance to visit Koller Gallery when a super talented artist friend of mine, Marco Veronese, had an exhibition there. There is a beautiful small garden, connected to the gallery with a small fountain, lovely statues and it has also a calm, artsy atmosphere. Excellent to ponder on life’s big questions and chill a bit there. Worth to go!
  • Cozy and nice, the lady was very nice and welcoming. Worth to visit!!
  • We were first worried this was a closed private gallery which wouldn't take kindly to visitors who aren't planning to buy. However, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. They gave us a short explanation of what art we can find in this gallery and we were free to take our time and enjoy the beautiful Hungarian art. Very much recommended if you happen to be in the area!
  • Free of charge gallery, with different sculptors and painters. Bigger than expected, and intersting. Rate 5.
  • Secluded, intimate location, visited by few tourists. You feel like home, the interior is very nicely arranged, there are several sketches and paintings by Hungarian artists that can be bought. On the top floor is the workshop of the Hungarian artist Amerigo Tot whose sculptures are also exhibited in the garden of the house. Worth a visit if you are in the Fisherman's Bastion area.
