  • We had to go right in the middle to traverse the Elizabeth Bridge coming from Rákóczi. Are two similar buildings of 1800 the Klotild (Marie Clotilde was the Princess wife of Archduke) North on Matild South. Appear as a gate to the bridge with their towers of 48 meters. Rather eclectic architectural style of neo-Baroque Anglo-Saxon origin. On top of the towers in the shape of the dome is the Crown of the Archduke. • The Klothilden palaces are twin buildings that left and right of the feeder road to the Elisabeth Bridge are used - and thus act as a kind of gateway. One half is renovated, the other not - in that you can see the differences nicely. They are easy to reach (Ferenciek tére) Metro and you can connect them with a visit to the Váci utca.
