Kiraly Baths, Budapest

(600+ reviews on the web)
Architectural Building
Relax in one of the octogonal pools illuminated by holes in the 16th century Ottoman dome at Kiraly Baths, the city's oldest thermal baths. One of the few baths in the city with its own source of thermal water, this space has remained largely unchanged from its original state, making you feel like you are stepping back in time. The baths, pools, and Jacuzzi are all unisex facilities. Bring your own swimsuit, towel, and flip flops, and store your personal belongings in the secure lockers. Note that children are not permitted at the baths. Put Kiraly Baths into our Budapest trip itinerary maker to see other points of interest to visit during your vacation in Budapest.

  • In the Saturday no concessionary tickets, but if you take the ticket with Cabinet, it will cost 2400 HUF. It is less than 7 euros. Crucified flights before the Budapest polumarafonom, which was to be held the next day, tr hours did not go away. Bath is very similar to the device at the pool Rudosh. But Kiraly over and it really seedy enough time, however, everything is clean and everything is functioning. Those who speak of the need to update repair, just don't understand where to hit. Because you tell the Romans that then you have such tacky Stadium and wrecked, and with such a loud name Colosseum? Why would you not restore it, all the more so as many modern materials now have to do so))))) when Kiraly, you, in addition to the pleasant feelings and health, and will be able to catch the elusive atmosphere that was here a few centuries ago, when the baths opened. Feel it and ponaslazhdajtes')))) plenty of became hodit'turistov, and, sometimes, not to do the procedure, but simply to otmetit'sjazdes'. When I, a group of Italian tourists, popleskavshis' in the pool, started to make sjelfi only towards the end of his photo shoot to find that because of the couple, the image turns out bad. I would like to specifically mention the girls that sell tickets at the box office, when I have a depleted smartphone, they help his charge until I was in the bath. In the next coming here again!

  • Bath is the ravages of time outside and inside to look at the Király. Who expected no sterile conditions and simply want to Bob in the warm water is right here. The entrance fee is comparatively cheap, the general cleanliness leaves to be desired. Slippers are recommended! Looks you over is an ideal place for relaxation time in the water, after hours paving appearance and sightseeing.

  • In my many travels to Budapest I hadn't tried this Spa. Well ... to be avoided! Already the exterior of the structure is ' sgarruppato ', but the Interior where then I thought he was barefooted and in costume circular better .... of course not. The big tub looks more like a pond, it takes only the frogs. There is a towel hanger, slippers scattered random, ' pipe ' without water, jacuzzi diffuser ' pooped ' from vacation, of course always full, as it has 4/5 posts. Only thing passable: changing rooms and price (2700 huf with cab) Today I return at Gellert, to get over the shock.

  • Forget any luxury bath and go immediately to this place. This is NOT a place for who like 5 stars bath or stuff like this. Turkish bath in very ancient style, hot and cold bath and 2 sauna. Don't ask anything in reception, go to changing room, than ask info to someone. Direction are write in English also, so you can't lose. Real bath for real people
  • Very old Bath. It is not very clean either. It has atmosphere, but if you want wellness standard definitely look somewhere else. We went there in November and it was quiet full too.
  • Great atmosphere, perfect chillout location. Building is old and creepy, in some places even disgusting, but it oddly didn't bother me - only somehow enhanced this unique experience. Staff was very nice and helpful. You can rent towel and swimming suit on the spot (didn't try, just seen it on the price list inside). Swimming caps are not required (unusual in Budapest).
  • My favourite baths in Budapest, did read a 1 star review and it is true that someone should be your guide the 1st time you go there because there are no directions anywhere to be found, and the way to the dressing rooms and from there to the sauna is really not obvious, but once you get past that these are really the most private baths you can go to in Budapest, everything is packed into a small space so you don't need to walk at all. Also check the schedule of these baths because, if I'm not mistanken, it's not mixed every day of the week, some days are men only, then women only, and I think only 1 day is mixed and both can go.
  • The main bath is pretty spacious but the hottest one only fits about 6 people. Luckily this place doesn't get too crowded though. They have a lot of variety, two saunas, a Turkish bath and a jacuzzi. Place looks like it's in a need of renovation
