  • Lajos Keni, the leading artist of the Hungarian avant-garde. He presents his literary and artistic work, a permanent exhibition on the floor of the former Zichy Castle, which was created in 1976 as a filiate of the Petőfi Literary Museum [1]. In spring 2000, another permanent exhibition opened in the XX. Century Hungarian artists from the legacy of Hungarian writers. The avant-garde topic often organizes intermittent exhibitions, which are also presented abroad. 1976-2007 Ferenc Csaplar, a literary researcher, was in the museum, who had no obsolete merit in organizing, enriching, and creating temporary exhibitions. After the death of the Csaplar, Gábor Andras and then Edit Sasvári became the director of the museum.
