  • Nice museum adjacent to the palace up on Buda hill. Had some very interesting artwork . both modern and traditional focusing on Hungarian artists over the past several hundred years. Its a beautiful building with spectacular views down across the Danube.
  • Staff were unfriendly and enforcing rules which I saw as completely pointless. I was told off for walking down stairs in the wrong direction, and told that I was not allowed to wear a jacket into the gallery and had to tie it around my waist, still baffled why. Also the collection is very hit and miss, it's a complete mish mash of random bits of art spanning from medieval times until the present day. The worst part of the exhibition was a room filled with around 20 portraits of people looking bored. In a way, this was the best part of the exhibition because it was a good visual representation of how the gallery made me feel. The experience was topped off by a man in the toilet grunting and saying "oh my god" as he urinated.
  • Very interesting gallery. Hungary is amazing country full of interesting history. Must visit!
  • The staff work there are unfriendly. I don't really understand what I did wrong as a tourist to make them so unhappy. I was very frustrated by difficulties communicating with more than 1 person here. I ended up leaving without bothering to get the ticket. Just wanted to let you know that what we, as visitors, see the city and the people from you.
  • Fine art from all centuries in Hungarys rich history well presented at unique location. Love it!
