Inspirock Rating:
3/5 based on 180+ reviews on the web
Elisabeth Bridge crosses the Danube at its narrowest point in Budapest. Admire the bronze statue of Elizabeth of Bavaria, for whom the bridge is named, in the garden on the Buda side. This side also features Döbrentei Square with two monuments, as well as historical baths nearby. On the other side, visit the March 15 Square, where the oldest church in Pest is located. The bridge offers one of the quickest walking routes between Buda and Pest. Take one of the pedestrian sidewalks next to the road on the bridge and enjoy the views.
