Bridge Tourist Spot
Elisabeth Bridge crosses the Danube at its narrowest point in Budapest. Admire the bronze statue of Elizabeth of Bavaria, for whom the bridge is named, in the garden on the Buda side. This side also features Döbrentei Square with two monuments, as well as historical baths nearby. On the other side, visit the March 15 Square, where the oldest church in Pest is located. The bridge offers one of the quickest walking routes between Buda and Pest. Take one of the pedestrian sidewalks next to the road on the bridge and enjoy the views. • A nice bridge. Lots of landmarks in sight from it. Also a good place to start exploring the city of Budapest  more »
  • In some other city, maybe this bridge would have a better chance, but in a Budapest, city with such glorious bridges, this is just an average bridge, nothing to see really.  more »
  • Not far from our hotel. The second bridge of Budapest. Quite impressive, we crossed this to reach Gellert Hill, Liberty Statue, Citadel and St Gerrard Statue. It is a typical bridge to cross the Danub...  more »

  • Compared to the other two bridges this bridge gets one star less, probably because it's the newest among the three. I recommend to visit the bridge by night. You can really enjoy the light lit Budapest.
  • At day it was a beautiful bridge and such gorgeous handicrafts on it and during the night it lighted up so amazingly and beautifully. It was one of the most beautiful things ive ever seen at night.
  • It is one of the most important bridges at Budapest. The name is a hint to the history.
  • Great views over both sides worth a walk across and near plenty of restaurants and bars.
  • Modern bridge, good view of the Daniube River and downtown from span.
