  • I went here back in the assumption real Hungarian folklore. However, the program consisted largely of music on Hungarian-inspired classical-romantic music of Brahms, Liszt, Monti etc.. No authentic folk music so. Music by real classical ensembles played much better. A hiccup so. The level of the dance also fell rather against. Messy and played with enthusiasm.

  • We attended a gala concert in this wonderful old (1895) theatre. The seats were comfortable and the program was very diverse - classical, jazz, folk dancing and cimbalom (ancient hammered dulcimer). A...  more »

  • My husband & I saw the show tonight. We both thought it was wonderful. The dancers & the musicians were A+. It was very entertaining.
  • The quality of the venue is superb and there are many options to choose from! Great choice if you visit Budapest!
  • Me and my family went to one of their programs, the Danube cruise guide dinner, and disgusting is the best word to describe it. The boat was loaded with gigantic spiders, you could not look anywhere without spoting one on the wall or hanging down the ceiling. The 2 hour tour for 3 adults costed 126€, normaly one would guess that, ignoring the large wildlife setting neds above your head, dinner would be a delicious taste of hungarian cuisine... no... the place was filthy and the food was vomitive. The only good thing were the musicians playing beautiful tangos during the tour. So if anyone decides to ignore this comment and go either way, good luck trying not to eat a spider while distracted eating goulash, as it is the only eatable thing on the buffet.
  • Great folklore and mini orchestra performance! So much talent!! And Danube Palace is beautiful!
  • Good folkdance performances
