  • The most attractive city park with Vajdahunyad Castle, Széchenyi Spa complex and, in a neo-Baroque building decidedly "Habsburg". A pond of the bars, many benches. Clean and inviting, behind Heroes ' square, one of the most characteristic places of Budapest. The Park is free, stop to rest, especially toward the sunset, or why not, during the hottest hours, to get some relief.

  • Beautiful, quite big park with a gorgeous castle. You can easily find what you are looking for: nice green places with lots of shade, soft grass to sit on, fitness equipment, playgrounds for kids, a lake and casino. There are also mini restaurant where you can have a drink or meal.
  • Gorgeous park. On the weekend there is a carnival sort of thing going on by the castle so it's interesting to have a walk around and then go to the quiet park area and enjoy peace and quiet. It is a real oasis in the city, walking distance to downtown. You'll find better areas on the Buda side but this is a great place in its own right.
  • Really nice park. Lots of grass areas and lots of areas to sit in the shade. Also saw some nice sculptures and tennis courts throughout
  • It's a huge park with lots of green area. You can have a long walk or lie in the grass or play with your kids. There are many spectacle nearby like Heroes square, Museum of Fine Arts, Art Galery, The Budapest Zoo etc. And if you need some refreshment there is a place called Kertem which is one of Budapest's best open air bar.
  • This is a beautiful sprawling park with a very nice castle at the heroes square side of it and some lovely walks. We visited on a beautiful sunny day which probably helped too but it was a lovely place!
