  • Buda Castle is not just a single building. It's actually a district on the right side of the Danube. You can follow a good part of the entire history of Central Europe in museums and Palace buildings. You will find many excellent restaurants (definitely not on the cheap side), fantastic view of the city, souvenir shops (of course), nice museums. I'd say it's a not to be missed.
  • Absolutely gorgeous! Probably my most favorite castle within Budapest. You can also go up and check out some of the government buildings but beware all of the armed security.
  • The castle was a nice place for photos and certainly provided a great vantage point of the Danube river. Walking to the top takes about 5-10 minutes. A tram up is inexpensive should you decide the climb up to be too tiring.
  • Good architecture on a top a a hill, you can see the old buildings and there is a good view on the city from there. I recommend to go there at night
  • Impressive castle on the buda side... If you wanna have the best view of Pest go up there during the sunset time.
