  • If you climb to the old town from the cable cars, this square (the gate) is on the other side almost. You will find walking in old city, continuing from the Church Matthias Michali Tantsits Street). The square (Mpetsi Somewhere End) got its name from the gate that once led from the walled city of Boydae towards Vienna. Having suffered considerable damage, the gate was finally demolished in 1896. The current gate, that the draft was based on historical designs, built in 1936 for the 250 years since the liberation of Buda from the Turks. Around the square many interesting houses in Baroque and Rococo design with various sculptures and reliefs.

  • Royal Palace of Buda, where the Danube River not far from the Congress side this way much more than political + administrative + is the distance of diplomacy. Preferably in government buildings or embassies and carry it around like a dense area if that same taste when it comes to this square. The presidential palace nearby, centered on the main square, government buildings, and many embassies are clustered. The square itself is Adam told me that

  • Castle Hill climb towards the gateway that can be located on the north side of the small Plaza in front of the gate and then Vienna. Vienna Gate is the gateway to Vienna from Budapest in the past old town used as the exit of the appearance of the place, now in 1936 commemorating the 250 anniversary of the liberation of Buda. I have also been able to climb over the gate, embark on a fairly high in height you can see a panoramic view of Budapest is also the viewpoint.
