Lined with luxury boutiques, cafes, restaurants, theaters, and Neo-Renaissance mansions and townhouses, Andrassy Avenue links the city center with the main park. As you stroll and shop, explore notable spots on the boulevard, such as the Hungarian State Opera House, the Academy of Music, and the House of Terror, commemorating victims of Communist and Fascist eras. A wide tree-lined boulevard, scenic. Many shops, also beautiful. Very beautiful monumental buildings face onto it, even the opera

I had read much of this avenue that really disappointed me. Our hotel was right on it and we drove it on several occasions, but I was always wanting more, I thought that it would have more stores, more ambient. It has but a small area. Also has large mansions that some are embassies, the opera... but I expected something similar to the Champs Elysees and does not like. It is nice but it expected more. Metro line 1 also visited it for the recommendations on this page but not worthwhile to devote much time to this visit.

This Grand Boulevard connecting the Erzsébet Square to the City Park and it, as well as shops of famous brands, restaurants and old mansions, are several points of interest like: Museum of Terror, Franz Lizst, Opera, Puppet Theatre and the beautiful Plaza of the Heroes.
