Lined with luxury boutiques, cafes, restaurants, theaters, and Neo-Renaissance mansions and townhouses, Andrassy Avenue links the city center with the main park. As you stroll and shop, explore notable spots on the boulevard, such as the Hungarian State Opera House, the Academy of Music, and the House of Terror, commemorating victims of Communist and Fascist eras. • Place is easy to reach and arpund the main cafes bars and pubs. Good for a shopping day, has a few nice stores but I can't say it's crammed - more like relaxing.  more »
  • Grand Boulevard leading from the Centre to heroes ' square. There are the seats of various embassies and consulates. It runs even on the subway.

  • beautiful promenade with expensive shops but very busy with traffic. Large buildings but we found it disappointing.
