  • In the context of a cruise with NCL we have created also on Roatan. There we took a taxi and us to the Half Moon Bay can be. Cost: $60 for a roundtrip ticket (a car would have cost only $45). For this again picks up one of the drivers then also at the agreed time. We have been to the mounted Half Moon Bay Resort. There, additional 10 euro for it were calculated us that we were allowed to use the filthy beds and the shower there. Can be directly put best by the taxi drivers at the beach. If necessary, the resort gives also snorkelling equipment for another 10 bucks. From the resort is a small staircase directly into the Sea (so no beach) and the snorkeling adventure begins immediately. After a few meters, you can see the first fan corals and other huge coral. All at a depth where you can still stand. We were thrilled that the underwater nature is still so intact. This is probably because that can get lost here, hardly any tourists. The Half Moon Bay itself consists of several low budget accommodation and some small shops. Who love snorkeling, will not be disappointed here definitely.
