Step into a 278 sq m (3000 sq ft) enclosure to get up close and personal with more than 200 butterflies at Butterfly Gardens. See between 10 and 15 different butterfly species, including the owl butterfly, queen long wing, Julia, queen, and Julia’s sister. The area is surrounded by a wide variety of exotic plants and fruit trees. Find other animals including toucans, parrots, and monkeys.   • Were this small Zoo in the West end of beautiful butterflies, Capuchins and ARA. But we have seen and in Copán and butterflies here quite a bit. but for the agouti and monkeys it was interesting to watch. Recommend, if absolutely nothing else to do

  • Good place, the best part are the monkeys. Not that much butterflies to see and it's kinda informative. 
  • This was a fun place to visit. Lots of butterflies and good photo opportunities. Also, the other animals in the park are a load of fun. You can hold monkeys, kopi luwaks, and agoutis. Loved this park ...  more »
