  • Take the time and head up to the Iguana research and breeding station on Utila. They have wonderful people on staff and are trying to keep a threatened species of Iguana from going extinct.

  • Beautiful place, very committed with environmental conservation and education.
  • Don't go on Sundays, it's kind of closed. You still can go inside and watch the Iguanas but no tour or guides.
  • Nice place, good to support this great cause, in protecting Utila's iguana population
  • I had a great time! We had someone show us around, we got to see all the cute lizards!
  • Place wasn’t open when we got there on Friday at 1 pm. A few animals in there but nothing spectacular at all.
