Parque Central, Tegucigalpa
(1.6/5 based on 75+ reviews on the web)
Take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city in the shaded Parque Central. Follow the maze of paths to find street performers and vendors, or locate a bench and watch people coming and going from the nearby cathedral. You might even stumble across a free concert within the park. The area can become very busy around lunchtime on sunny days, so spots in the shade can be hard to come by. Take a look at our Tegucigalpa itinerary maker to schedule your visit to Parque Central and learn about what else to see and do during your holiday.

  • I'm a tourist from the country in which the main square area, a large area so that tanks could pass at the military parade on May 9 in the case of Red in Moscow or armored carriers, when the storming of the Winter Palace or a couple of divisions in the case of the Decembrist uprising on Senate in St. Petersburg-Leningrad. And here is not the fact that tanks, taxis here problematic Park, so it is difficult for us to come to terms with the metropolitan status of this square and the Park. But Honduras country is small and unassuming, so you can apply the slogan of "Volkswagen"-"Small is beautiful!" -"Small great!" well might not perfectly, but pretty sure. But even here there is a shopping center with lots of cafes, Bank, where you can change the dollars for not very appropriate for the Lempira, the Cathedral, the monument to Francisco Morasanu, who tried so hard, but could not unite Central America. And there are a lot of trees, so many that it is difficult to make photos, any tree be sure to fit in the frame. But residents of Tegucigalpa tourists don't care about: their little anyway and more unlikely. Only very strange people go to Tegucigalpa, for example, like me. To scratch Honduras, perhaps?

  • Walk with your family or just to rest. It would be good for family walk on Sundays and feast days, carrying your food and enjoy healthy foods. Children need these spaces of rest, and grandparents. Hopefully it was always always care.
