El Picacho, Tegucigalpa
(4.2/5 based on 260+ reviews on the web)
Climb up to the Christ statue at El Picacho and admire sweeping views of the nearby cities. Due to the high hill the statue sits on, the attraction can also be seen from most places in town. At 20 m (65 ft) tall, the icon makes an impressive sight to behold. Take one of the many paths in the park to observe the lush plants and flowers as well. • This is a great park with lots of nature and paths to explore. The views are great and it's definitely something to check out if you're in Tegucigalpa.

  • In tegucigalpa NO PARKS for children, so discovering this place gave us a break. There are many games for kids, many celebrations of birthdays, rent bicycles, there are tables if you want to bring your food and also places to buy, there is a water park to cool off if the day is hot and a Zoo which do not even enter and has an entrance which is paid separately. Admission to the Christ also is paid apart but incomes are not expensive and is a very nice view.
