Pulhapanzak Waterfall, San Buenaventura

Categories: Waterfalls, Nature & Parks
Inspirock Rating:
4.7/5 based on 200+ reviews on the web
The giant, cascading Pulhapanzak Waterfall represents the largest falls in Honduras. Surrounded by a lush green rainforest the water pours down the rock face 43 m (140 ft) high. The falls are a destination because of a cave behind it that visitors can climb into and explore; visitors may also swim at the base of the falls. Nearby trails allow you to visit the river below the falls--be prepared to climb over boulders while being sprayed by the water from above. Others may opt to take a canopy ride that glides you over the crest of the waterfall.
