Cayos Cochinos, La Ceiba
(4.3/5 based on 280+ reviews on the web)
A group of tropical islands that sit in the clear waters of the Caribbean Sea, Cayos Cochinos provides a relaxed atmosphere with many different activities. Old boats and weathered palapas on the white sands give a rustic feel to the two main islands, which are surrounded by 13 smaller coral cays. Visitors here like to hike (especially toward the lighthouse), snorkel, go handline fishing, paddleboard, and more. Local eateries serve freshly caught fish. • We did a day tour from Roatan and we absolutely loved it , it's a paradise on earth , we visited 4 different islands and had a lunch made by locals on one of them. It was worth every single dollar.
  • Is a place spectacular, although it only negative that see is that theme of them tours that is organized to go, since used boats very precarious and small and both to the ida and especially to it turned you splashes the water of the sea and all the world just well steeped of water.

  • Cute place but I think that in a humble opinion I think that the tour operators do not do well to the keys because it seems to me that the tours are very short and do not show the beauty of the keys... all tours operators make a similar tour and in the low season prices shall not be less than $40us, I think is overpriced for what little you visit... what would be a tour of everything a only hard hours.. .salio an hour later change from 7 to 8 between one thing and another 09 leaving the sea 40 min boat and visit to the visitor center where you put one video more think it is a waste of time, then pequeeno snorkel on a pequeena Beach on the minor, ahia a chachahuete key eating and back before 14 hrs on Earth... expected to enjoy a small white sand Cay but It was not... There was no time for anything except eat snorkel on a beach that was for nothing... I must say that I came without knowing if I liked or not...
