  • One of losm meores sites in the country to observe birds and other animal species, as well as the spectacular panorama created by mangrove. Looking for Erick Herrera, the best guide of the place.

  • It is a great experience, every time that I go, from the moment that needs to be addressed a little train (so) in order to reach the Centre of research, giving us the talks and then go to the Salt River by boat to see more about everything related to the flora and fauna of the place, and finally have lunch in the community a fried fish rich. It's great...

  • A 2 h long-run boat paddling on the river and a bit into the mangrove forest waiting for the visit of the sanctuary. Sounds harmless, but super nice! Basically you can go without a guide, and there are also motor boats, but both will most likely cause you can see hardly any animals. And there are much: monkeys, crocodiles, Fledermäuschen, owls, and (my highlight) an anteater and others we have seen. But who really many animals, e.g. a manatee (Manatee), wants to see, the 5 a.m. do tour. To do this there's a simple, cheap ($10 for a double) accommodation and which is located only 5 minutes ' walk from a lonely dream Beach! Otherwise here, the way of Ceiba out there: taxi (approx. $5), or all buses direction TELA ($1, get off at la Union), then Tuktuk ($1) to train and the funny, small banana train (€10 back and forth) to the visitor center ($10 entry, $10 Guide, $10 boat). Camera will take not wet, so quiet. As well as mosquito stuff and water. It is really worth! Was really great! Again and again!
