  • The Museum houses numerous original sculptures from the site of Copan and from neighbouring sites. At the center of the exhibition space was placed a life-size reproduction of the Rosalila Temple (now buried below a broader structure). The moment you get banned because one gets the impression of being faced with an abominable cafonata, actually all the facilities which we now see color of stone were painted with bright colors, especially red.

  • In the Museum is can see them parts original found in the ruins and that have been protected as well of the erosion. The exhibition is exquisite because far from being an accumulation of stones, all exposed according to its original position. Impressive reconstruction of the Rosalila Temple omnipresent anywhere in the Museum.
