I wish I had more time to explore but was not disappointed. Seeing Rembrandt's masterwork was simply awe inspiring. The museum is well laid out, and frankly, massive. Be sure you have a few hours to dedicate to your visit, you don't want to miss anything.
What a museum! Paintings by the most important Dutch painters, such as Rembrandt and Vermeer... you can spend hours just soaking up the details. Very nice cafe for lunch or coffee, and they have many very talented street musicians/singers outside giving short shows. Lots of fun! Beautiful buildings around the canal, and a nice park behind. You could spend your whole day around here
An unbelievable experience! To stand in front of these Old Master's paintings & see their amazing talent was priceless. A must see even for those who are not art lovers. Many other things to enjoy as well. One needs a few days here to enjoy it to the full!
A national treasure, it's worth visiting but beware of busy hours. It surely is more enjoyable when there are less people visiting. The art is presented in a very appealing fashion and you can get enough extra information on most pieces.
