  • This museum devoted to science and technology is completely interactive, so that all-adults and children-Have fun learning!! It is a science and technology museum located in a ship-shaped building, next to Amsterdam Central station and the Maritime Museum. The purpose of the museum is to stimulate human senses through exhibitions, theatrical and cinematographic productions, workshops and exhibitions in general; Everything, involving technology, divided into 5 floors. The third floor is dedicated to teenagers, because it deals with puberty and sex. It is the largest scientific center in Holland. It was really worth it. At the end we went to your RoofTop, which is another spectacle, with a wonderful look and where people climb to enjoy the view, sunbathing in a bikini and a few beers too. It has water jets coming out of the ground for children to play and various structures to sit or even lie down. This part is free if the person enters outside the museum, climbing the staircases and only enjoy that space.

  • This is not really a review of the science museum itself as we didn't pay to enter. However we did visit the rooftop 'garden' which is free, has great views over the city and the maritime museum, thin...  more »
  • Lots to see and do however it was all way too chaotic. I’ve been to lots of science and children’s museums and this just doesn’t compare to the top ones I’ve been to in the U.S. It’s sensory overload ...  more »

  • The most interactive museum in Amsterdam. Both children and adults can enjoy so much fun here. It is a very big museum with lots of things to do and discover, so be sure to spare at least 3 hours to visit this place. Worth every penny and minutes spending here.
  • Really good place for kids, though I think it's expensive when going with family (2 parents and a kid) costs a little above €50. It would have been 5 stars except for price, that too family price. My son thoroughly enjoyed the interactive exhibits. The roof top restaurant is also very good with nice food, seating (indoor and outdoor) and views. I personally like the view from top of NEMO than from Adams look out though it is not that high. Also the roof top and restaurant is accessible to public with out the need to buy admission to mm Museum itself.
  • If you go with kids to Amsterdam you must see this with them. Great in every aspect. They will enjoy it for at least 5 hours so plan a whole day for it. 5 floors with great fun for adults too. You do not have to out to eat because they have a good restaurant and cafe too.
  • Really awesome museum! I would highly recommend to ANYONE! This is not only a children's museum! Adults can enjoy this too. However, the cost in my opinion is way too high. 17.50!!! I think that the first level is the best, really interactive and fun. (You have make a giant balloon to stand inside of) I would also recommend going to the roof! Great views of the city!
  • "Science Museum" is a massive misnomer, because this place is little more than a glorified playground, that teaches little to nothing of the actual science behind the demonstrations (several of which were poorly maintained and a few even not working at all). If you're older than 10, there's nothing for you here; very little appeal to an adult audience, and certainly not worth the rather steep €17,5 Adult entrance fee.
