Create an itinerary including Place Saint-Pierre
Make the most of the cooling breeze at Place Saint-Pierre, where you can relax, discover the green space, and enjoy some people-watching. Set within the bustling streets of Petionville, this historical square is a little oasis abutting a charming church. After the devastating earthquake in 2010, the plaza became a camp to over 500 displaced families from the island. Nearly two years later, the families were finally rehomed, and the neat, verdant square reopened to all. • Place Saint Pierre is nice to walk and is across from the hotel. The people are nice and always willing to show you around. I felt safe and have a total different view of haiti.

  • Went there for Sunday service at St-Pierre. Lovely street scene. Little girls in pigtails with ribbons.

  • but I wouldn't make a long detour just to see this place. Still a nicely church worth visiting if you're in the neighborhood

  • ⛪️
  • You can spend your time here
  • Or is a relatively beautiful place. There is space for kids and teenager to play. And sit for everyone, adults more often, to date, and talk with other. We could find also some beautiful flowers to buy and offer to someone. I love this place so. But anyway I love less the informal fast food businesses all around it.
  • Nothing special to see and do in this place. Above all, watch your wallet when you are around, as the place is crowded with street children and adults begging from passers-by and vehicles
  • This public square is a good place to take a rest in P.V
