3.9/5 based on 45 reviews on the web
Scale the heights of Iwokrama Canopy Walkway for an outstanding vantage point as well as panoramic views over the lush, verdant jungle and biodiverse wildlife. A series of suspension bridges and decks that go as high as 30 m (98 ft) will take you over the jungle, giving you the chance to see various species of bird such as scarlet macaw, Guiana toucanette, green aracari, and channel-bill toucan, as well as red howler monkeys among others. Even the route itself to the jungle is scenic, with plenty of species observable along the paved roads. • The Canopy Walkway is a must see attraction within the Iwokrama Rainforest of Guyana! Standing on the platform 100 feet off the ground is an amazing experience & it is a great view for bird watching t...  read more »
  • Not a difficult walk up. Unfortunately we got hammered with a bad thunderstorm and trapped there for a bit but otherwise we did see some birds and monkeys
  • If you read do you expect very much. You walk from Atta Lodge with a guide to the walkways along the way he lays things out about what you see and hear. It was rainy when we were there so we saw not much. In total there are four bridges on treetops level so you look everywhere over it. The view is amazing but it is smaller than I had expected.
