Fuentes Georginas, Zunil
(4.3/5 based on 90+ reviews on the web)
Relax and unwind in the hot water springs at Fuentes Georginas, which features four separate pools, each differing in temperature. Although it may feel like a tropical forest, the fresh mountain air keeps temperatures cool here. Take a sip of the mineral-rich water, said to possess healing powers, and consider staying overnight at rustic cabins, which come with personal hot tubs fed by the natural springs. The site also includes a shop and restaurant with a bar, which does get exceptionally busy on the weekends. Lockers and towels are available upon arrival. For travelers who use our online itinerary creator, Zunil holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Fuentes Georginas and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

  • Definitely if you are visiting Quetzaltenango is a journey that you must perform. It is a truly magical, very economical trip to nature, and worth it because it is an amazing place, a place to disconnect and get out of the rut. Well they say that if your cell phone has no signal, it means that you are in the perfect place. Very close to the hot springs pools there are very nice restaurant and they serve a delicious meal, which you can accompany with a soda or a beer. In the menu, you have many options to enjoy a good lunch and enjoy a beautiful view.

  • The Fuentes Georginas are very beautiful hot springs, has trails for walking as well as its warm sulfur water, something very relaxing to be in peace and quiet. If they travel to Quetzaltenango is something that I recommend to visit, several agencies sell the tour towards this natural tourist attraction.

  • You are going to love the road to get here, it's amazing. The place is really good, it has 3 pool with naturally warm water, at different temperatures each. Restaurant, locker service, bungalows(if you want to stay) and they even say the water has healing powers.
  • Best place to relax and heal yourself. Hike to the hidden spots, the main pools are full of people.
