  • The caves are in the periphery of the city of flowers, becomes easily taking a tuk tuk that cost you between 10 and 15 quetzales. The ticket for foreigners 15 quetzales. Depending on your pace to appreciate things, the excursion may be 2 hours more or less. I am lover of photography as well is that it took me a little bit more. The bad thing is that a guide accompanying you to the inside of the cave there is. As we had no flashlight, we had to rent one for 10 quetzales. Occurred to us rent 2 headlights, so I was always afraid that this unique flashlight would fail and us to stay to obscure in that huge dome and an impossible return path out. The cave itself has no spectacular formations. The stalactites and stalagmites are rather small and their colors are somewhat weak. Signage inside the Cave found us poor because we were wrong and we lost the paved trail which caused us slip and fall hazards. In conclusion, the trip seemed very good, when in flower and you spare a little time. It could be significantly improved without on-site is contase with a guide.
