  • Because of the read reviews, I was a little stressed at the idea of not being able. Actually, it wasn't quite the hardest hike that is, just go at their own pace, and in 3 hours you reach the top. Ascension is nice that many other volcanoes, since he is not climbing on rocks of lava: the first part takes place in the middle of the coffee trees, the second in a beautiful forest. At the Summit, we were able to enjoy the view because of the haze, but how proud to have reached 3035 m! It is not necessary to go through a travel agency or even to take a guide: take a tuk - tuk in San Pedro, which will drop you at the entrance of the Park, which is secure. Then, there is that way, you won't get lost, and you will be guaranteed to go at your own pace.
