  • The hike was easy, fairly steep in a few spots but only 30-40 minutes to the top. The views from the top are incredible. It was very cloudy on the day we went so the sunrise wasn't as good as it shoul...  more »
  • Recommended to see the sunrise over the Lake. The bureau'tjes offer the Trek all on. You will depart at 4 h with a chickenbus. You understand now so all that you can do this trip all by itself. 1 quetzal per person and you get off with the other tourists. This is followed by a 45 min. In the dark to up. The path is fair to good passable. Would you like to do a complete hike or hike back to San Pedro then make your best for a guide.
