  • Having traveled several times to Quetzaltenango and undergone Salcaja, I did not know of the existence of the Hermitage only recently. It is historically important for Central America, since it is the first church founded in it. On our visit were lucky to find it open, since he was to celebrate a marriage, and we could appreciate the inner part. It is quite small but well lit. For those interested in history or religion is a mandatory stop.
