Water Body
Take a calm, peaceful boat ride down in the surroundings of dense green jungle at Parque Nacional Rio Dulce. The 43 km (27 mi) long river is popular amongst fisherman and cruising sail boats, featuring a small Spanish colonial fort at the mouth, which was built to protect merchants from local pirates. Find one of Cental America’s largest bridges, spanning the river. Make your way down to the bridge and stop at one of the towns on either side.
