  • I want to give a grand 'Thank You' to Hotel Atitlan for their hospitality, patience , professionalism and attention to detail. I especially want to thank Luis for his assistance in multiple aspects of our stay. We were generously upgraded to a King bed with an amazing view. The gardens are incredibly beautiful and the mornings were very relaxing sipping delicious, local coffee while overlooking Lake Atitlan. I highly encourage others to stay here and treat yourself to the view that this hotel provides. It was within walking distance of Panajachel and staying here made many very, very good memories.
  • Hotel is in a perfect location on the lake offering breathtaking views of the lake and volcanos around it. Staff is friendly and prompt. Only reason I did not give the hotel 5 stars is they could do better with toiletries/amenities available in the room.
  • Elegant but laid back accomodations and food in a startlingly beautiful setting. Hotel staff bent over backwards to serve a 6+ hour lunch/supper and cocktail session without ever losing their smiles. If you happen to land in Panajachel, don't even consider another hotel.
  • The hotel was magnificent. The staff was super helpful and friendly. One downfall about this hotel is that the food is over priced. Dinner for two was about 85.00 USD. Breakfast was 33.00 USD. Lunch was 65.00 USD. Luckily it’s a once a life time deal for us. So would I come back and dine at hotel Atitlan, never. I would come spend the night for a beautiful hotel but would rather eat out. Total spent there including hotel for 2 was about 400.00. In Guatemala, no way.
  • Just had a cup of coffee but the buffet was spectacular I saw it
