  • It is a unique experience! I personally love the markets, I think that they show the life of a city and its people in a unique way, and the Central market in Guatemala City is a clear example of this. Colors, smells, and movement in the generated are unique. Haggle with traders is obliged task and almost a sport ;) is better to be trained! And the prices that are paid will be almost the lowest of everything they can find in Guatemala. Don't forget to go and wander around the two plants!

  • My spouse and I reaching Guatemala and given that our hotel was at 100 meters away from the market we decided to get to know the place and perhaps to provecha to buy souvenirs, what we don't imagine is that this was the perfect place to do that and more. Everything is very neat (even where they sell food), handicrafts are marvelously and priced super comfortable, the friendly super locals which are not only in stores but which are at the entrance, there are very confident in the end, our first day in Guatemala home so but so well, that almost everything buy you on our first day (remembrance and things for the House) , its people as say in Costa Rica PURA VIDA...

  • Excellent place where you can see the number of objects and typical food authentic folk; recommend, and so enjoy what you really are looking for a foreigner in tourist plan.
  • Lots of comedores, produce, crafts, and more. Multi levels, explore all three
  • A cool place to wander for a bit.
  • Great place to get souvenirs and presents! A little bit of everything here. You need to go all the way to the last floor and try the traditional food.
  • It's dirty. It's crowded. You need to watch your pockets. BUT, it is fantastic.
