  • Particularly struck me, but all the same, many shops artesania with the same products for sale. A little better in the field fruit/vegetable and food ... really small and there you go anyway because, from what little I've seen, Guatemala City, as well as being very dangerous is definitely the ugliest sight in Central America and Mexico.

  • We went to know the market (we love markets) and do not repent. Is located behind the Cathedral and is built down. It is on the first floor (- 1) there are crafts at good prices, but also things that are not focused on tourists, which is very interesting. In the - 2 is the best. Herbs, fruits, colors and cookhouses. All very lively sounds with cumbias, very popular and lively background music. We take a carambola juice and ate something to step. Very happy to have known this side of urban Guatemala.

  • Located close to the historic city centre and Cathedral. Is not a big market, but many sold Guatemala's unique and colorful folk art, clothing, and, were it looks vivid. Guest appearance, did not feel lively.

  • Lots to see and eat. Merchandise in typical Mayan indegenous styles. All kinds of Guatemalan dishes and delicacies to enjoy.
  • Really nice market where you get a lot of things. For sure worth a visit
  • It is overrated place. Many commercial things on the market low quality, maybe beside handbags and few good shops. The better place with good quality is central market in Antigua.
  • We bought great artesanías and eat there for 20 Quetzales.....it's a fantastic experience...never felt unsafe
  • Nice place to buy guatemalan handmade stuff.
