Avenida La Reforma, Guatemala City
(3.6/5 based on 150+ reviews on the web)
Stroll down the marble boulevard of Avenida La Reforma for a glimpse of some of the most desirable zip codes in the city. A main boulevard connecting the northern areas of the city to the southern districts, the orantely decorated 2 km (1.2 mi) avenue offers pockets of greenery, statues, and eateries dotted along it’s path. The road itself can get very busy, so take care when crossing. Don't miss the beautiful Botanical Gardens located at the northern end of the strip. • Bonita Avenue to explore on foot. Trees, plants, monuments. A point of reference in the city. And Sunday pedestrian area. Many people exercise that day in that way.

  • Since a few years ago the Mayor of Guatemala, Alvaro Arzú, recover such Avenue to pedestrians and created the activity "Steps and pedals" every weekend, once was with the family and the experience was wonderful, walked quite and didn't feel it due to the multiple activities of the place. It is a ride that you must schedule if you walk by Guatemala.

  • The Avenue is beautiful and good to make walking and running, especially on Sundays when they close up the 1:00 pm.
