It is a unique experience that you can have access quick out of town (87 Kms Taxisco, Escuintla). My family you loved for the opportunity to see in their habitat to a good number of species, however, on this occasion we didn't see the Lions (main attraction), which left no doubt this slope mainly in children who were with me. The prices are accessible (Q60 adult children Q50), including the tour boat and use of swimming pools. An option that is recommended to anyone you want to get out of the routine of the city of Guatemala.

It is basically a Zoo, but the ride is in auto. There is also a zoo to visit on foot, a small lake, where you can stroll in boat and a pool area. The Park is a little neglected, lacking maintenance, but even so is a visit inevitable if these in Guatemala

I went back to visit Auto Safari Chapín after some years and I still find it fun without being nothing exceptional. The rhinoceros that was the most exotic who had died some years ago, but still you will find zebras, giraffes, Buffalo, hippos and lions that can put emotion to visit and perhaps even come to the car, so remember that you have to wear the glasses up in some areas. In a few hours you can give a second round without cost. At the end of the walk you can take a boat trip and if you are lucky and your guide is Mr Elmer, the you will have some stories of the Park. Pedro de Alvarado border is quite complicated by the passage of vehicles, so if you're from El Salvador seeks not to cross the border after 4 o'clock. The animals eat at 09:30 in the morning so that is a good time to see them in action. My score is 7.5 of 10.
