  • If you have 4 x 4 you can get almost to the top. The lagoon and the great place. It is worth visiting it!. There is a path that leads to a viewpoint, the tour shows beautiful landscapes.

  • Well worth sticking around Chiquimula to hike up to this gem. It's easy to get to - just grab a colectivo heading to Agua Blanca & ask them to drop you off at the Volcán, or get one to Ipala and anoth...  more »
  • Recently we got the Ipala volcano mountain bike by the side of white water, it is not the traditional way, the last two kms are the most strong walking is well steep ascent but is achieved, total rises at 1-1:30 horasarriba view is amazing, they have to pay approx Q15 per person to enter above there are camping area and this beautiful to be able to swim lagoon.
