  • Very nice experience, fascinated me the volcano, only that I did not enjoy it sooo much that day because it was raining and it was cold, but it's a preferred walk.

  • This place is of very easy access, I took the route driving from Chiquimula to the municipality of Ipala, not you must enter to the village but continue the road that goes towards water white, all is signposted is very easy get. The parking lot is walking as 2.5 km to climb the volcano, the ground has many stone so I recommend shoes comfortable and secure, if you want to you can rent a horse by Q50 with people in the community. To the get to the top the lagoon you let fascinated. Above you will find a small community where you can buy drink if you wish.
