  • A visit of this church before sinking into the market of Chichicastenango. After the service, it is not uncommon for Pagans rituals exercised in the middle of the Church on planned locations. It is the only church where it is accepted. We see people wait on the markets... it is amazing

  • It is worth to put attention in every detail, mix of religions, Mayan and Catholic, the flower market which is outside is beautiful.

  • Go to "Chi-Chi" without stopping before and in this church would be a pity. He will play ancestral practices that it is nice and interesting to discover in the smoke of the incense and armfuls of flowers.

  • An interesting and historical church in the heart of the town and middle of the market, where Mayan and Christian cultures and traditions mix.
  • Magical place
  • Very authentic place where Mayan traditions meet Christian ceremonies
  • Mass spoken in Spanish and K'iche.
  • A place that no one should stop visiting, this is the true living culture, share with the Quiches (Maya in the region) the goes and comes from its market even with bartering and living presence of the dancers around one church, people, culture, gastronomy, colour, life... that is GUATEMALA
